Three courses announced on big data and data management for maritime and offshore sectors

Following on from the successful MATES Big Data Course which took place from 12-15 October 2020, three new courses have been announced to take place in January, February and March 2021.

The courses will continue with the theme of Big Data and data management in the maritime and offshore sectors, with varying topics which will be of interest to practitioners and specialists in these areas. Courses will continue to be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Introduction to Big Data Analytics for the Maritime Sector

Summary – This course aims to provide specific knowledge and hand-on experience on Big Data technologies for Data Analytics, which are considered as key factors in digital transformation of the enterprises of the future.

Industrial Data Spaces, Organisational Data Management & Governance for the Maritime Sector

Summary – This course aims to provide basic knowledge and hands-on experience on Data Management & Data Governance policy regulations and best practices, which are considered as key factors in digital transformation for the enterprises of the future.

Summary – This course aims to provide specific knowledge and hand-on experience on Big Data technologies for Data Analytics, which are considered as key factors in digital transformation of the enterprises of the future.
